So, after a long 22 days on the market, we finally got an OFFER on our house! Pretty exciting, don't you think? Nope, you thought wrong. The mastermind offered us $35,000.00 below our asking price, wanted us to pay for his closing costs AND thought it would be prudent for us to throw in our washer, dryer and brand new fridge for good measure. You figure after everything is said and done, it would only cost us about a $5o,000.00 difference. This will probably come as a surprise, but we had to turn the offer down. We did counter, but obviously aren't holding out any hope.
On a side note...if you are reading this blog, we are not going to tolerate "lurkers"...you read, you post a comment. It's that simple. Some people have it down, some people don't. Time to start working on that!!!!!!

I KNEW you would get an offer. I made an offer like that on a house and it got turned down too. I thought that because it was a buyers market I could take advantage of some desperation. Turns out they weren't desperate. The fact that you got an offer this soon is GOOD. It means you have a good product. I know you can do it!!!
Sweet deal...can't believe after all your moaning about an offer that you didn't take the first one that came up, Ryan! Beggars can't be choosers ya know. :)
at least it was an offer ryan!
get the couch ready, i'm heading down soon!!!!!
